beautiful vintage lady statue is signed and has a natural patina as it has not been cleaned. Has some green
residue on backside that is 1-1/2" x 1" and appears to be florist putty (not broken), prior owner was big in the Sweetwater
Garden Club so I feel it was used in some floral flower arrangement at one time.
No damage and condition is excellent. Base size is 5-1/2" diameter and 15-3/4"
tall. If you look way up inside of her you will see a bolt with nuts on it if that helps you to date it.
History I have is - estate sale item and son said his mother
bought it years ago from a local antique dealer that closed back in 1965 and she is long gone.
Nice signature August Moreau and I do not find a number. I
do not know if it had a marble base at one time as many did as well as a plaque with a name on it. Therefore I do not know
the name for this art work
